About the work
This website was made to launch Diesel’s Boule bag into the prêt-à-porter market. With a price tag pushing €500 we conceived an idea that gently poked fun at the handbag obssesive with this campaign called Submit Yourself.
The idea was that you would visit a shrine online where you could worship the Boule bag and also pledge a sacrifice in return for ownership of the bag. The best pledge would actually win the bag. The pledges came thick and fast with people offering everything from their boyfriend to their job.
My role in this project was Creative Director, I worked on concept, art direction and designed the site.
It was built in partnership with Andries Odendaal and the mN team with sound design by Leaf Cutter John.
